Plumbing box truck wrap ideas

A plumbing box truck is not a van with more room for bullets. The box is a billboard that sits in traffic. Highway distance forgives a big name and a big number. It does not forgive six services in a column.

Box as a billboard

Sample plumbing box. The name and number are set for distance. Three services sit in one line so they do not become a poster of fine print.

Box truck shop proof with large side type and a phone number on the box

Box truck proof with a real phone scale

Shop proof of a box truck that already treats the phone as type, not a detail. Steal the scale. Replace the delivery brand with the plumber’s name.

Clearwater Plumbing box truck curb-read study with the phone number as the largest type

Box side, ten feet of one idea

Flat box crop. If you can read the number from across a parking aisle, the wrap is doing the job. A second slogan under the number usually means the number was too small.

Put the company name on the box, the phone under it, and one offer you can say out loud (“water heaters” or “same-day leaks”). The cab door gets the number again, smaller only because the door is smaller — not because the cab is less important when they park at a supply house.

Curb-read checklist

  1. One offer on the box

Water heaters or emergency leaks. Not both at the same size. The second offer can be a short line, not a second headline.

  2. Phone under the name, same color family

A number in a novelty font fails at 40 mph. Use the same plain type you would put on a yard sign.

  3. Cab door repeats the number

People walk up to the driver. The cab door is the handshake. Do not leave it as a blank factory color.

  4. Skip photos of sinks

A stock bathroom photo on a box truck dates the wrap and shrinks the type. The name is the picture.

Remix this on their photo

Prompt to remix: white box truck, plumbing company, deep blue box, company name huge, phone number directly underneath, one line of three services, cab door repeats the phone. Daylight, parked at a supply house, readable from across the lot.

Common questions

How many services fit on a plumbing box truck?

Three short lines, and only one of them should be able to win. If you need a fourth, it belongs on the estimate, not the box.

Do I design the box and the cab as separate jobs?

Show them in one proof so the customer sees they match. The cab number and the box number should be the same digits, same order.

How is a plumbing box-truck proof priced?

The proof is what they approve in the office. Production files are a later step, after the yes. You get 3 mockups when you sign up (lifetime), not per month. HD proofs start at $5, or Pro is $49/mo. Export for Design is 2 kits/mo on Pro, 10 on Production, unlimited on Business, or $19 a kit. HD proofs do not need a kit. Same-day shop proof, then files after approval.
